Does the PTSO provide a suggested donation amount for parents?
We understand that family financial dynamics are unique and donations will vary. However, the PTSO suggests a $100 donation per student. If you are in a position to give a little more on behalf of another student, your generosity is always welcome. 

How is the fundraising money used?
100% of your donation will remain at Altadeña. There is no outside company receiving a portion of the funds. The funds will directly impact your student’s learning.

Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes, the Altadeña PTSO is a 501(3), a non-profit organization with the Federal Tax ID of 94-388932. Once your donation is made online, a receipt will automatically be emailed to you for tax reporting purposes.

Is my donation eligible for the Arizona public school tax credit?
No, tax credit donations should be made directly to the school. As per tax law, these funds are earmarked for specific eligible activities, programs or purposes.

Can friends and family donate?
Yes, please share this page and spread the word. The more donations your child brings in the higher their chances of winning a prize during the fall fundraiser.

My employer matches donations to non-profit organizations. Can they match my donation?
Yes, many employers like Intel, State Farm, Microsoft, Hewlett Packard, PepsiCo, Charles Schwab, Wells Fargo, Honeywell, Freeport McMoRan, Humana and others offer gift matching programs to their employees. You can more information here.
