How do I get involved?

Game on, Panthers!

The Altadeña PTSO invites you to join our team. Our goals this year include increasing school spirit, encouraging academic excellence, and fostering community unity. Every dollar donated and minute volunteered makes our school stronger. We need you on our TEAM because Together We Achieve More.

Click on the donate paw above to learn more about our annual fundraiser and other easy ways you can support your child’s school.

Beyond dollars, we want you to be involved.  Click the volunteer paw above to be alerted to all of our PTSO activities.

Finally, make sure your student(s) is ready for Spirit Wear Friday’s by purchasing custom Altadeña apparel.

With Panther Pride,

Nicole Koester
2022-23 PTSO President

We need you next year! Altadeña PTSO is a group of fantastic parents willing to share a small amount of their time and talents to improve our school. As we look forward to the 2023/2024 school year there are several ways to get involved: sign-up to help on the hospitality committee and show our staff they're appreciated, oversee the spirit wear orders, connect with our community and encourage businesses to support our school, and coordinate the parent volunteers. If you are willing and able to step up next year please comment or reach out to president@altadenaptso.org. ... See MoreSee Less

If your student plans to attend the 8th grade dance in May, here are some helpful reminders about appropriate attire as you prepare to shop.
Per the Kyrene Handbook, "While the dress for the eighth grade promotion dance tends to be “dressier” than for the other dances and socials, we ask that attire remains conservative."
Our principal has requested the following:
- Please no plunging necklines, cut outs in the mid-section, or lengths that don't allow for movement.
- No saggy pants that show underwear or language/symbols that don't follow the dress code.
We love seeing our students all dressed up and are looking forward to a wonderful night.
